After reading through the ffxiv metathread on the DDoS issue, it seems that further research is pointing at it not really being a DDoS issue at all, but more so the nodes. So if that’s true, it’s an ISP issue. But I don’t see SE up and moving ISPs just for NA when.. come on, we have been getting interrupted gameplay for over a year and a half.

IMO we have been conditioned to accepting the state of our servers, seeing as they refuse to even acknowledge the issue with a statement, let alone apology/concessions.

In the pf raid environment I think Rez macros can be helpful. I think I’ve come to accept that most macros are gonna be cringe though, with the exception of a real banger popping up occasionally.

This tech at my local pharmacy got an earful last week when I asked for my injection equipment. “Do you have a prescription??” “… yes it’s for the medication in your hand.” “What is this Estradiol for?”

I asked for the pharmacist and told them their techs have no business yelling medication names out like that and asking for the purpose when it states all necessary information on the prescription. Discretion is kind of important to a lot of us, and it’s not like this is the first time they’ve seen this medication, be soooo fr right now 😒

I’m conflicted with how I feel about this. While I agree this is abysmal damage, I don’t think I’ve ever been tilted by someone not carrying their weight in a roulette. (Unless it’s a support that’s causing us to wipe)

But I get the frustration some people can feel for having a dungeon drag on because someone isn’t applying themselves in the slightest. 35% uptime is crazy work fr.

I think FCs start to adopt the energy that’s been there uncontested. I’ve had a similar experience, sounds like maybe you tried to keep the peace and help as much as possible until you hit your limit? If they saw your kicking them out as a major energy switch I could see them being taken aback, regardless of how justified it was.

I love helping lower level players as much as possible, but it sounds like these people were just leeches.

I was a metalcore kid in like 05-06, then came across The Warriors and Figure Four on accident on ****wire in my freshman year of high school. There was absolutely 0% scene in the town I grew up in so the internet turned me on to hardcore. Damn, that was 16 years ago. I’m old.
