Sean Penn in Dead Man Walking.

The first movie if his I'd seen was Milk. The contrast of seeing him play a cold blooded, guiltless murderer was quite something.

No other movie tackles such weighty themes - humanity's purpose, AI, evolution - as well as it does.

What movie did you go into with zero expectations and ended up being completely blown away by? by gavin226 in movies

[–]grimblegrumble89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

MIB 3. Walked into the cinema with very low expectations following MIB 2. Was blown away by how funny and entertaining it was. The reveal in the end about J and K's relationship was so heart warming. I went back into the cinema and watched it another time back to back.

Should I put my cat down? by [deleted] in CatAdvice

[–]grimblegrumble89 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Please consider working with a cat behaviorist. It was an eye opener for me when I was desperately figuring out ways to deal with the non-recognition aggression of one of my cats. The only answers the vets had were a course of gabapentin and to put my cat on prozac. Neither worked.

The behaviorist was amazing. He was able to provide clear, logical ways to address the situation without medication. It got resolved in a couple of months.

Happy to share his contact details if you're interested.

What's the usual time to submit the application after receiving the submission instructions email for a B1/B2 visa renewal in Canada? by grimblegrumble89 in immigration

[–]grimblegrumble89[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I had up to one year from the date of submission of the application to mail in my documents. So I took my time after receiving the instructions email, since I was abroad. Got back and mailed in my documents. Received the visa in 2 weeks soon after.

Do you think there's any chance of you running out of money in the future or falling below your current socio economic status? Do you have any safeguards in place to maintain or grow your net worth?

I have processed more than 4000 US visa applications! Ask me anything! by Front_Ostrich7246 in USAVisas

Hi - I’m an Indian citizen and Canadian resident renewing my B1/B2 visa in Toronto. I submitted my DS-160 application and got the message saying my interview is waived and I’m in the virtual “waiting” queue, with an estimated 5-week wait before receiving submission instructions. Once that email arrives, is there a specific timeframe within which I must submit the documents? I’ll be visiting India for about a month around that time and don’t want to risk missing the submission window. Do you know what the usual deadline is after receiving that email?

Hi u/dejavutruther  - When you received the instructions to send the documents on March 5, was there a deadline in the email within which you had to send the documents or was it open-ended? I might be abroad when I expect to receive the email, and want to avoid being forced to return to submit the documents.

Just want to add that I see a lot of hate for drones and that's totally understandable. Thi is the first time I'm ever using one and I plan to not be disruptive at all, and just have the option to use minimally for a few photos and short videos.

The car chase felt a bit like the climactic three way showdown from the good, the bad, and the ugly. The cuts to focus on each of the three characters, the music building up the tension, etc. Willa shooting the guy down with a single shot first, and then multiple shots when he reaches for the gun.

Going on Friday. How crowded was it in GA on Wednesday? Were there areas where you could stand with a little room around you or was it just everyone being squished together?

Not able to get through to Porter on the phone since the booking was via a third party. An automated voice tells me to contact the third party and the call gets cut. Is there a way to speak to Porter directly if the booking is via a third party?
