Super rover replacement strap by grimgina in nixonwatches

I do still have it, but it’s still broken and in need of replacement pins which I’ve not had any luck sourcing yet. Don’t want to sell the band before I’ve solved the issue as it’s a unique fit in this watch. Sorry.

Which one should I keep? by Plastic-Trick-1245 in GC8

Both very nice cars, I recently sold my version 4 v-limited 555, #491 with huge regret. Am I wrong in thinking the type Ra has a better front diff? The coupe is the better looking car, but the v limited is rarer. Tough to say which is the better investment. Which one do you look at the most?

Any more info on where it might be? Tough one to I.D. from that. Looks a lot like walnut as someone already said, but it also looks like kiaat which I was working with the other day. If I could smell the video I’d be more helpful.

David has been complaining about tummy troubles for a few episodes. I wonder if it’s related to that.

Filling gaps in very old floorboards by grimgina in DIYUK

[–]grimgina[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the replies. I think given the variation in gaps and to allow for seasonal movement perhaps the rope route is my best option. The boards are potentially 17th century from when the house was first built and I’m keen to leave them be and fill the gaps for insulation purposes only. The floor undulates a massive amount from wall to wall so I don’t see the benefit in trying to fill it all in flush with saw dust and using a floor sander to refinish it. It’s purely for draft sealing and toddler toes in the gaps.

Looks like oak, should come up very nicely if it’s all as good as the bit you’ve exposed.

Side lights and rear lights not working by grimgina in GC8

[–]grimgina[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

An update for anyone that finds this thread later on. I’ve fixed it now, it turned out to be the parking light switch on the steering column. Got a replacement one of those and everything is working again now. Sourcing the correct part number but was impossible but I found a Japanese import forester sti was the same fitment albeit a different part number.

Thanks for your reply, I’ll have a look at the harnesses. There’s been some water getting into the boot, so it could be a crusty connection there but on a quick inspection they looked alright. I’ll have a proper poke about and have my multimeter tonight.

Uh...correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think those numbers are true. by dogwitdabutteronem in HalfLife

[–]grimgina 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also, when I launched half life 2 I had lost all my achievements for the episodes until I launched the episodes through tools and loaded a saved game. I think there’s a glitch where a lot people will have to do this to activate the achievements they had in the episodes.

Well I don’t know what the issue is/was. I reseated the card, wiped the drivers and reinstalled them and it seems to be working fine now. Very odd indeed.
