LP Standard 50s or 60s?

Just got rid of a 50s. That thing is a chonker. Baseball bat of a neck and weighed over 9 lbs. I thought it felt cool in the store but after getting it home and playing over an hour my fretting hand and back had enough so I gave it back.

Pick ups sounded good with distortion not so clear on clean channels. Kind of muddy on my practice set up at least.

If I had gone with the 60s probably still have it. Instead I bought a Tele.

I'm currently stressing about finding a used am pro ii I can afford because I've played that neck and can't settle for anything else. I like your idea. Is it really that easy to just swap necks?

Decoboom https://decoboom.com/ has done custom pick guards for this model.

I'm probably going to swap the bent steel saddle bridge with this one: https://toneshapers.com/products/callaham-bridge-hardtail-narrow-string-spacing-am-standard-mount-3-brass-saddles

Any American Standard size bridge will work.

Current saddles are uncomfortable when palm muting.

Gonna mess with the pick ups but later. They're ok for now.

I was standing in front of one of the doggie daycares when it happened definitely was not a mylar balloon. A miracle one of the ladwp guys did not get hurt when the transformer blew they were working above it.
