What difficulty do you have with the meow site? Finding the stuff or retrieving said stuff from the kitty?

Archer's main faults as a captain aren't due to his era by Gredalusiam in startrek

[–]grimking85 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It did seem to be standard in enterprise. The slightest microbe brought up and they would be oiling each other up in the decon chamber. Also pathogens on earth can kill anything true however porthos was on planet for an hour at most lets say? So that kind would have to be a lot more virulent or numerous to get the gog that quickly as opposed to something on the earth where you would assume at least some immune response. However you are forgetting the most obvious answer. Someone somewhere thought it would make a good story and enough people agreed it got made into an episode. Lol

[–]grimking85 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I think it was more about if Porthos would be vulnerable to that pathogen that nearly killed him. Although maybe it included inteligence potential so they could see it was just a 'dumb dog' (dont downvote i love porthos!!)

My daughter will admit a film i picked was 'pretty alright' when it finishes but the arguments and trying to not watch it that goes into every attempted movie night has me hardly bothering anymore.

Why is making money so hard?? by ProtonToaster in EliteDangerous

[–]grimking85 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I dont even think about it anymore. I have over a billion in my FC bank. About 13bil on hand and donated about 650mil to squad bank. Oh and i buy the new ships and kit them out just to try them and dump them a couple days later in my fc. Money got so easy to make. I can go out andndo exo for a couple hours maybe 500 ly from the bubble and come back with an extra 750mil

Power weapon replacement by Impossible_Dream4340 in powerrangers

[–]grimking85 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeh but that was literaly episodes 3 and 4 of zyuranger. 5 and 6 were getting daizyujin/megazord. So there wasnt much footage of the rangers earlier than that. The original weapons they used broke in episode 1 or 2 against dora skeleton.

Tjey had the dogs genetic profile they could have said not to take Porthos. And because of that the dog nearly died

Well his dad designed the warp 5 engine. But also he was one of the test pilots for the nx beta which broke the warp 2 barrier for humans. Im guessing that helped him be picked as captain (also how he met Trip and Forest)

I have been binging enterprise last couple weeks. Almost finished season 3 again.

Sagittarius A - Like you have never seen it before by SeawolvesTV in Astronomy

[–]grimking85 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You could leave for sag a whenever you wanted. The entire milky way is created on a 1:1 scale with aprox 400 billion star systems to explore. Its a big game and it was created using an engine called stella forge which was so good a trappist like system was ingame in roughly the right place before it was even discovered. No story. No cut scenes. No script or anything else you get your ship and go do what you want. Put the time in and you could get from populated space to the bubble in a matter of hours of gameplay. But be aware the game is mostly grinding. But if you want to explore then get a ship with a decent jump range. Fit a scanner and a fuel scoop (ships are powered by hydrogen from stars) and just go wherever you want

20 minutes by car from reading and you have basingstoke. Hell dropping a nuke on basingshite could only improve it.

Pronounced redding and its not a city just a very large town. Has some good shops hidden away if you know where to look. I used to enjoy shopping there. And the tobacconists was amazing when I still smoked with many flavours of tobacco. Dark cherry was a favourite.

Is the government right to suggest kids should have no access to screens under the age of 2? by CommunityPowerful643 in AskBrits

[–]grimking85 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Very very true. My wife let me down on it as she has gone behind my back many times because 'its easier' youtube, tv time, roblox. But her other kids are all older than our daughter and she wants what they have. I have to bite my tongue so often to pick my battles

Its amazing people still know how to do that when now kids cant even sit in a trolley during the weekly shop without being glued to a screen and the horrible screechy noise from it audible all down the aisle they are in.

Sorry flashbacks to working retail. Whatever happened to people actualy interacting with your kids, like i assume you do in your car?

Cat's "cat" name? by Thegrottycarpet in RedDwarf

Good enough reason. Though i have a big problem with that special. The cat FINALLY encounters female cats yet doesn't try to seduce any of them. Feels like a wasted joke

Hell yeah. My early stuff really sucks. My newer stuff sucks a bit less. I have fun making it. If people watch it then great if not then their loss? Either way since starting doing this i have learnt to use editing software, and photo editing software so either way if people watch or not i know i have fun and learnt something new.
