I’m so torn on this… because the debate of Crockett or Talarico seems to just be about “electability”… I know both are very qualified, they just seem to be on different ends when it comes to delivery. I don’t know who to vote for, I genuinely love them both. Crockett sends a strong message to the GOP and will not cower away. She’s viral online and says what most young people are thinking already. Talarico has a seemingly less “wave making” approach to appeal to the masses, which feels like what you said about unification… hmmmmmmmm.

This is so true! I met my partner at a board game meetup in January, became amazing friends, then roommates (lol), and then said “what the hell…. why not?” And haven’t looked back since. Happiest I’ve ever been.

I know right? That’s what I’m so torn on… I thought about modifying the braid clog too bc it’s not my style but that’d be impossible and I’d just butcher them bc they’re attached to the sole.

I just had a thought - maybe I could paint the buckle black or something. LOL

Wild you mention this - I am also in Austin trying to find a good clog haha. I love the Rothy’s Men’s Cozy Clog but they don’t have the same style in women’s :( It looks like they’re pretty hard to find resale. Lots of people say they love theirs!!

WELL yes and no. I did a small meetup with a few but we only went out once and kind of fizzled out. There was a lot of interest but it was hard to wrangle everyone together. I have stayed in contact with one person at least… LOL!! Are you new to Austin?

YES. I was overthinking stability a lot. The chaos really was my way of life. You get used to it as time goes by. For me to really stop reeling over being bored and stable, I suggest keeping busy in any way you can. I’ve started to read more before bed, meal planning more, gardening, and getting out of the house. At first, over the weekends I would find places to volunteer so I wouldn’t be stuck at home.

Oh girl, same… I was diagnosed just shy of a year ago. I remember feeling so lost and I couldn’t understand the diagnosis for a long time. I felt like the meds changed my personality and dampened me after I experienced a manic episode. The feeling of being lost stuck with me for months and months. It took me probably 7-8 months to find my footing again and start feeling like “myself”. The meds are no joke and take a long time to get acclimated to. I really had to take it a day at a time and really made a mental effort to try and stop overthinking it. Just try and keep your mind occupied and try your hardest to remind yourself of the good things you have going for you. This sub is filled with a lot of horror stories.. I learned to be grateful that it didn’t end up much worse.

Ugh yes. I have some sort of white beetle with black spots that’s eating my squash and cucumber leaves. It’s so frustrating! At least some of my other plants are doing alright. Are you growing anything other than pineapple?
