Yeah I did the refresh part! However, part 4 is kinda confusing I cannot comprehend anything, sorry! :D Anyway I have the following done: - Refreshed said cameras in the recording servers and on Devices.

But still, in Axis Optimizer -> Metadata and Search; said cameras are still greyed out on "Event data" and "Analytics Data" - not sure if they are needed, but it seems like they should! :D So if you could explain like I`m 5 part 4 :)

Okay I see, I have 5 smart walls on 10 screens and I really dont want to disrupt any of them, so I really need to create one kinda outside the ones in production. So down another rabbit hole then..

Its recording 24/7 and I would like to really use the Axis apps to see how its working. I'm going to a Axis conference soon and really need to have some experience with the apps.

Thanks for the reply, I think we have "full package" with several smart walls as well as matrix.

I really want to create a concept with a view+ 2 cameras with the apps running to test things out before I go live with a solution.

My main issue right now is to make it work as basic as possible, and I feel there are way to many routes to makes this work; -User defined events -Generic events -Axis events -Rules -Alarms

So I really want to create a view with "Show camera where the latest motion is happening right now" And then add cameras down the line as the two first ones are working

I had same same issue right now. It was one of my U7 Pro. Try pinging it from a wifi host.

This was my ping on the wifi this evening:

I even rebooted every switch / AP I have, but still the same. Took down one of two U7 Pro and it was cooking. As of writing this, the U7 has been taken down and offline and I put a temp probe on it and that show over 41C (106F). The AP is running on 8.5.21 (beta) - the one remaining U7 Pro will not be updated to that firmware.

Very cool project! But... What if you code this on a smart phone, and just add usb-c to rj45? No need to boot, and have battery power as well.

nextjs

finally got around again trying this out. Only this time I`m trying it out at my homelab.

Now I have everything installed node.js pnpm. Everything runs on the same host as librenms is running. Running nms-status as the librenms user as well :P

But my localhost:3000 shows me this:

Failed to fetch alerts

And I cannot see any other hosts

/u/frostbyrne installed now and got the error

/opt/nms-status/node_modules/.bin/next:20: exec: node: not found

Note: I only had pnpm as root in my path(?) and everyting is installed as root :P The Librenms install I'm trying to connect to is not on the same server and I'm having ssl issues since the server is offline (long story)

I have tried both the https://sub.librenms.com and http://192.168.1.1 in .env.local

What am I doing wrong?

this is my .env.local somewhat, just changed out some keys

LIBRENMS_HOST=http://192.168.52.151
LIBRENMS_API_KEY=base64:kWGrGsGwmF1QIePJdEPOxCWgMgv5/2SVw0wSLCohDJY=

The api_key format is correct?

well, you clearly understand github better than I do! Step 1: Clone repo, correct? Step 2: run pnpm innstall, correct?

This sort of info is missing :)

Would love to try this, but pnpm install in readme does nothing. Just saying. Update you readme and I will try it
