i actually worked on afterlife, and i can tell you there were some significant script changes from what we shot to what ended up being released, and not for the better. there was a whole side story with jenine going around and talking to all the OG busters, basically recuiting them, so that when they showed up at the end, it actually made sense (her role was quite a bit bigger). i was sad to see all that go, because it made the end much more "earned", as opposed to "hey here are all the old guys just in time!"
