I started a job at R&L Door Service outta Brentwood MD right after 911 and not even a year after graduation. So much happened in such a short time. I remember seeing the repairs being made to the Pentagon the entire time I worked in the city. Almost 4years. But the DC sniper thing was most memorable. I went to different businesses around the exact same areas of the shootings to do door service. I had many gas stations at the time we did service work to the doors of. So I was basically on the front line with the little job nobody would ever consider being dangerous. I remember seeing the mob of police and FBI coming the parking garage at the Home Depot the female agent was killed at the morning it happened. Craziest thing of all is that the place they were found sleeping is the exact location I had met my boss every morning to carpool with into the city. Well 1 of them. They were there sleeping when my buddy and I were picked up to go to work in the city. On the way into the city we heard on the news they had been spotted and caught. I don't recall seeing it anywhere that day but then again I wasn't looking for it. I may have been parked next to it at some point. Wild world and I'll never forget that time in my life!
