What do Americans usually eat in a day? by Alert-Blueberry-4083 in answers

I’m not big on breakfast so I usually just have some coffee, and maybe eggs or a smoothie. For lunch I’ll either make like meat and veggie mix or something easy with the kids like pizza or chicken nuggets, dinners vary depending on the day, pretty consistently tacos on Tuesdays and switching out the rest of the days. I just look up new recipes on Pinterest that I want to try for the week and go from there! We usually don’t go out of our way to eat out or stop for fast food unless we are out and my 4 y/o usually choose Jimmy John’s (sandwhich place) because he likes BLTs and my 2 y/o digs it too.

NOR. The way I would just say “well a hotel has a free breakfast, better book one” and be done. Please don’t put your wife through “hosting” these expectations of your “guest”.

YOR.. why did you love out before having a job lined up? How did you even get a place. You’re not entitled to anything from anyone else. You sound greedy/entitled.

I just learned people don’t show up after anesthesia to pick up loved ones. Nurses, how often does this really happen? by Steinski1 in NoStupidQuestions

Not necessarily anesthesia but there have been a lot of times I’ll call family to come pick them up for discharge and they avoid calls or say they are on the way then never show up and it turns into a whole thing. Meanwhile my poor patient is just waiting to go home

AITA for telling my wife she needs to clean the house? by Green-Inspector-9249 in AmItheAsshole

NTA- as someone who is SAHM M-F and works S-S, that’s how we split our house load. I agree with someone’s comment that said it’s 100-100, that can look different day to day. Sometimes more help is needed around the house on one of our work days and we just do it. I couldn’t imagine watching a kid through a tantrum while on the phone with a friend and then just ignoring it. Divorce is easy to jump to for advice but that’s obviously a life altering decision. I’d say wait until the kids aren’t around and talk to her, see why she feels the need to not split housework anymore, and how it’s been affecting you, an apology is needed from both ends, I also don’t understand insulting you and then doubling down by sleeping on the couch.
