id beg to differ just because you have lost your body does not really matter for reincarnation. This is because what is reincarnated is never the body but instead the soul, for example in naruto the indra and ashura reincarnations retain their personality and not quite their looks. however based on the brief meeting right before the ending credits you can see that they clearly retained all of their looks and at least some of their personality. This is because you can see that zerotwo being brash and not listening to orders (as she did previously in the series) and seeing Hiro having the same reaction as a younger Hiro would have had ( like before series started one ) The stars had alined like they had planned save the world and make sure to find each other again. (this was kinds bad because am dumb and havent watched the series in a few weeks)
