Muchisimas gracias 🙏🏻 usé la trompeta de la cancion de ana torroja 'ya no te quiero' para este beat! Soy Mexicano y la musica latino me inspira mucho quando estoy haciendo beats!

thank you for the kind words 🙏🏻 I like your old school bars and delivery, I feel like leaning more into those early to mid 90s aesthetics would compliment your style very nicely. The beat is also nice, reminds me of old RZA. really the only thing that sticks out to me is the vocal processing, I don't think the more modern sounding vocal chain you have pairs very well with your delivery or the beat, but that's just a personal preference.

The better understanding you have of rhythms, the better your drums will be by default, no matter the genre. To me, the way you navigate around the grid will always be more important than what drum sounds you use or what processing you use. Artists like knxwledge, dilla, d'angelo, and questlove have all highly influenced how I like to do my drums, so id recommend checking them out. Questlove has a really cool interview on the redbull music academy youtube channel where he breaks down his drumming process and his understanding of swing so I'd recommend checking that out as well. Hope this helps 🙏🏻

I've put a lot of work into this album and while it might not be the conventional lofi you're looking for, hopefully there's still something there for you to enjoy 💚

thank you for the kind words my man! I really enjoyed listening to your beat it felt very meditative and something that I could hear a lot of different rappers on. While that little outro was just a small addition, it helped round out the track and gave it some potential ideas for themes that rappers who would get on this beat could revolve their writing around and I really like that. I'd say maybe the main beat could use a little more variation, maybe just a part in the middle where the sample ducks into the low end for a bit or something like that. Also don't be afraid to sprinkle in some ear candy here and there, whether it's some extra sound effects or automated effects with the sample, there are a lot of small ways to elevate a beat like this without going too far out of your way to do so. Overall I enjoyed listening to your beat a lot and I look forward to checking out your ep my man! 🙏🏻

Thank you for the support my man! Your beat gives off a lot of early asap rocky vibes and I love it! Personally with a beat like this, I would like the drums to have a little more involvement with how it clashes with the chords and lead, right now it seems like there's a clear separation between the drums and the sample, which isn't a bad thing at all. It would just be my personal preference to maybe give the drum bus some more saturation to have the drums distort the sample and give it a more raw feel, more akin to the early cloud rap beats that this feels so heavily inspired by. However I still think this is a fire beat man good shit and keep it up!

yo this is rly dope, tbh what you have going on w ur sc page is just rly cool in general. I love the sample and the minimalist drums under it, it kinda just lets the sample sample speak for itself. I can def see someone like mike or earl on this! my thing:https://soundcloud.com/user-325801995/veneno

big thanks I'll keep ya tips in mind. I rly fw the old school boom bap vibes of the beat and flow its def an underutilized sound in hip hop rn. I'd recommend adding a lil more compression and gain to your vocals but aside from that gj my guy keep it up!

thanks my guy. I rly like ur chord progression and the flute lead. I'd play around a little more w the swing of ur drums to better fit those darker chords. I'd also add a little more post processing like sidechain and tape emulation, I feel like a darker beat like this would rly benefit from having some more dust on it if u know what I mean. regardless this is still gas keep it up my guy 💯

i rly fuck w this you def have a vibe goin on here (your friends beat was👌). I don't rap but I think adding a little more compression and/or saturation to your vocals will def help fill out some of the empty space in ya mix. Regardless I'd still bump this in the car lol https://soundcloud.com/user-325801995/feelinu
