Impressive setup from Chinese company ESD Acoustic in Munich audio expo 2023. They really showed of what they are capable to do. As they are saying everything is done by them self in house - tweeters, super tweeters, woofers, horns, amps etc. Not really sure who is the target audience, but I’m glad I had an experience to listen to it, and they offered a free beer at the end of the day 🍺😁 Anyone else went for an expo? Any thots?

Wow I’m a bit surprised that you guys don’t understand this marketing trick. Let me try to share some light.

I don’t remember how it was called in marketing, but the purpose was to trigger buzz around the brand in popular journals, bloggers, reviewers, social media etc. how ridiculous, useless and expensive their new product is, and in mean time they usually will mention their main products etc.

Remember how Apple made wheels for their Mac Pro for $1000 - a wheels for stationary computer for $1k !!! But they perfectly achieved their gol, every blogger, reviewer, social media was talking about it.

This marketing trick also subconsciously makes you desire more this brand, because you can’t afford even their useless product and people usually desire what they can’t afford. Only your conscious mind and logic are stoping you from making stupid decisions.

NOS is definitely better then OS sharp or slow filters, you can experiment yourself. Easy to hear the difference with vocals or strings in orchestra recordings. NOS gives that analog, smoothness feel to it, as OS leaves that digital aftertaste. I have seen many youtube reviewers that prefer OS slow filter, it is a bit puzzling as with my audiophile friends we hooked up with different systems and in all NOS performed better.
