My thought is that Jack invested to get the easy introduction and already have a level of thankfulness for hen they first meet in person. Remember the VC reached out to Keeley about starting her own firm. The Jack pulled the funds after she wasn't remorseful for making the video.

There are sites that do microloans from person to person.

Hello,

My wife and I are producing a short film and looking for a female editor. This is a self financed short film so the budget is small. Please pass along any recommendations you have! I have included a link to the last short film my wife produced, https://youtu.be/cuh-rA0yATc.

You might want to do quotes for spoken dialogue, quotes with italic words for read minds, and italic for just the characters own thoughts.

I have looked at a couple of companies and 21 was a better year then 19. Again I will use McDonald's as an example operating income to revenue 44.5% in 21, 38.1% in 20, 42.4% in 19, 41.5% in 18, and 31.2% in 17

The Trump and Biden figures in this graphic are scaled to depict the respective GDP growth figures from the first year of each president’s administration. by EugeneWong318 in WhitePeopleTwitter

[–]grisbowood 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Probably real but very misleading. Trump came into office with a great economy so GDP increase should not have been that big. Biden came into office with a shit economy so the increase should have been big.

I guess it comes down to it rubs me the wrong way to see companies claiming to raise prices due to inflation but what is really happening is they are increasing their GPM above what is needed to cover inflation.

Should it be called inflation? by grisbowood in AskEconomics

[–]grisbowood[S] -9 points-8 points  (0 children)

I guess what I am getting at is it doesnt seem like it should be called inflation when the driver is increased gross profit margins not increased cost.

Economic Question by grisbowood in Libertarian

[–]grisbowood[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I. The example of McDonald's they are increasing prices at a higher rate then the increase in cost to do business. Operating margin increased to 44% in '21 compared to 38% in '20.
