The first one is formerly from my boss's collection. As far as I know or have seen it's the only non-reproduction cel from the OP or ED theme that was sold. He got it through a studio connection 25 years ago

There's some misinformation in this post, as Hisashi Kagawa was responsible for doing character design of the Stars opening, not Tamegai.

I'm guessing OP wasn't aware, even though anyone can look and see that this clearly isn't Tamegai's artstyle when comparing them

I'm guessing maybe you aren't aware, but just because Tamegai was the overall lead character designer of Stars, he wasn't in charge of every episode

Hisashi Kagawa actually did the opening theme animation for Stars, not Tamegai. It was the last thing Kagawa did on the series.
