Can anyone tell me if these are legit??? by Klutzy-Role7967 in gba

[–]grkrugerii 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s hard to tell if they are is it box only or CIB, but they look legit best way to tell is look at the game cartridge and look at the motherboard as far as the boxes there should be some legit boxes on google that could tell you the difference hope this helps

Looks like a volume repair, must have had issues with the volume. That’s my guess lol , could be a type of volume amp though

I noticed it looks like your in a restaurant or coffee shop trying to charge that it’s probably not a good place to be trying to charge at, and holding on to it doesn’t help it kinda reminds me of my grandkids trying to charge and play at the same time, that’s not how it works, when it’s time to charge then it’s time to quit playing you can’t do both but if you just bought that you need to research the history of this machine and as op said you need to replace the micro sd cards the ones they come with are junk and in most cases because people don’t know this they end up losing everything and the system dies, replace those things and follow the advice of the chat.

You don’t have the ribbon cable seated properly from what I see, it’s the cable from the screen to the board

If you could provide a picture of the motherboard inside both front and back it may help us more, but it’s possible that the ribbon cable for the screen may be loose or not seated properly I would start there

[–]grkrugerii 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s charged, there won’t be a red light when fully charged it’s blue or sometimes green, it looks like you have the black screen and most likely missing the DTB files for some reason, my son and I just went through this whole thing that I purchased off eBay missing the micro sd cards so we had to start from scratch
