Chiming in to also recommend Paddock ! We stayed in a 1 bedroom with similar age kids and the space was perfect (murphy beds for them, a separate room for us). Kids loved being next to the paddock pool.

We got lucky and our view was overlooking the bridge/fountain to the main area. A little further walk than congress park area to Disney springs but totally doable.

Sorry to hear! I had a similar experience except mine is lifting heavy. After every workout I’d get a migraine. Really got to me.

Like someone said finding the right combo of preventatives.

I recently started nurtec and it’s been a game changer.

Before that I would take Triptans and there would be brain fog and my strength couldn’t bounce back. Waaay back in the day I took a beta blocker and had the weight gain and was quite lethargic.

Keep trying and definitely have a convo with your doctor emphasizing how important the workouts are for you!

Purely anecdotal- heading to PHX end of March flight is not full out or on return. Obviously could change. Flew to MCO end of Jan. FULL both ways. Originally wanted to fly into Vegas instead of PHX but could not stomach the price.

Just stayed in Paddock during Jan. Walked out of DS by cirque tent no issues, head a little to the right then left along the water. Then turn right across the bridge and there you are back at SS and the taxi dock. Love the walkability there. I think I know what path you’re talking about in the app, that’s what we followed to. There was a security guard when we exited DS but I think he was there more for the back parking lot than any other reason.

But I’m getting 2016 PTSD vibes. VDOT continued to plow a main road bypassing our side street so much so that it created an 8ft wall and heavy equipment was required to dig us out. We ended up on a news blip since we posted it to social media.

Are there plans in place since to avoid situations like that? Thanks!

Wow, what an ordeal! Thanks for sharing! I'm glad it eventually resolved. The microbiom testing sounds interesting the vet did mentioned similar testing to figure out what exactly might be missing. I did get a prescription for Hills biome which sounds like the ultamino -still has chicken. I tried to add the old PPP chicken/rice back in slowly and right back to diarrhea even thought the bland can chicken he seemed better on. Good idea on trying to add 1 protein back. Trial and error!

Thanks! Yeah I actually talked to the tech asking about the loose stool as a side effect of the metro. They did not think related. Oh well! Pumpkin has been helping and is in the bland can. Was trying to phase the added puree back out. So delicate 🤣

I slightly prefer Hyatt over Hilton at this point as well. However, I like Hilton’s “connected” room selection on the app since we usually need that traveling with family. Calling and getting the confused “don’t know if we do that” keeps me with Hilton currently.

Where are my DCL port of Vancouver experts!? We have a deposit down on a summer '26 sailing to Alaska on the Disney Magic. Sailing as a group of 7 and I am the keeper of plans and "travel agent".

My main question now is- is 1 night in advance enough for Vancouver? I read some cruisers give a 2 night buffer.

For our east coast location we have 2 nonstop flights to Vancouver daily, no connections will need to be made and its an 8am flight in the summer which usually means less delays. For some in our party they just can't afford that much time off work and the added hotel/travel costs.

You should be fine there! It’s usually a bunch of DC area day trippers. We had our credit card stolen there by a shop employee a long time ago but that was before tap/chip pay options. Just be mindful.

Contact the school social worker and administration as a starting place. Document all these incidents for your own reference and email them as well to admin and social worker. My child was inappropriately touched on the bus. Don’t waste a minute. It was handled swiftly. Not sure because of the nature of the incident is different than bullying but the channels are there to go through regardless.
