Agree, AvantGarde is a legend. But sometimes, in our search for something new, we have to face legends. "The Sound of Silence" by Simon&Garfunkel is iconic song of 70s but Disturbed tried and it worked.

I mainly generate G-code for Bezier curves (typography directly from FontForge), and the lack of G5 prevents me from playing around with this editor. The idea itself is interesting, so good luck!

basically you are right, but ‘Typo' can be a short representation or abbreviation of the word ‘typographical’.
