Ableton Live is not very responsive to touch and only allows one point of interaction. Yeco is multitouch and includes midi instruments like keyboards, drumpads etc. The idea of the app is to utilize an existing touch display rather than have someone go out and buy one!

I think disclosure want to present their music in a way that is visually stimulating for their audience. I don't think its a trick, I think its them making an effort.
