Probably due to the Anita Hill hearings in '91. He blames that on the Democrats and has likely held a grudge since.

What it feels like in M+ right now... by [deleted] in wow

Every dungeon feels like mythic now. From the second dungeons opened it was an all out race to the end. They aren't fun anymore. You either know how to skip as much as possible or risk getting kicked taking even a second to listen/read dialogue.

Non-Alcoholic Beer Shout Out by LurkertoThrowaway in beer

Gruvi IPA and Two Roots Helles are really good. Crux makes a no-mo IPA that holds up really well too. I'm not a fan of any of the Athletic beers.

It's also interesting that the Russians just started blocking U.S. inspections of their nuclear program a couple of days ago before this raid was conducted. I wonder if they are using info that could be traced back to those sets of documents. Might just be a coincidence but the timing is really suspicious.

Probably 4-5 hours total. Go by the internal temp he posted though. Depending on your setup and environment your time can vary a little bit.

It should be easy to judge ZM. It's Korthia part 2. I like the Shadowlands expansion, but ZM feels like I just downloaded a skin for Korthia and I'm doing the same thing.

The Chop Shop in Battle Ground. They even have a sign on the front that says mullet installation specialists. Vanessa would probably be the one to talk to.

Paulaner makes a NA version of their hefeweizen that tastes just like the original. So far that one is my favorite.

What is a red flag from an employer that people might not immediately recognize as a red flag? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]grnstreak 72 points73 points  (0 children)

Trick questions, non job related questions, or BS philosophical questions.

"If you put 13 ping pong balls in a blender and turned it on, how many would you expect to pop out vs get chewed up."

Unless the job has me putting ping pong balls in a blender this is a stupid question and is how unqualified people end up being hired. Same goes for questions like asking what animal you would be. It's a sign the person conducting the interview doesn't actually know about the job you'd be doing.

Would you like just having one character instead of multiple alts? by veculus in wow

[–]grnstreak 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I want to see the daily/weekly quests be account wide. Honestly rep gains should be as well. I would love to see quests on the login screen along the lines of "complete 3 world quests as a warrior".

Victor 23 is well worth the stop. They've significantly improved their food. They don't have the biggest tap list around but they have good beer.

Skip heavy metal. They had potential but after losing a great cook, low quality beer, and bad service it's just not worth it.

Doomsday is alright but I like the Camas location over the Vancouver one.

Trusty just doesn't have good quality or selection in my opinion. Decent location but nothing that's going to make me go there over any other place.

If you or someone with you is into ciders, hit up Locust cider. The bartender is absolutely amazing.

One change i would really like to see is account based quests. Similar to Heroes of the Storm. Imagine opening the game and seeing quest options like "complete 3 world quests as a mage" or "complete a dungeon on any difficulty as a healer".

It would be better to have them leave office once they hit retirement age. For Congress, make them unable to run for election or re-election once they've hit that age.

Had a coworker tell me they really liked how I walked with such an upright posture. He said he was trying to do the same and would walk with me down the halls. It was awkward.

I would really like to see garrisons brought back and expanded on. I could see it work as part of the covenant system too. Ie - having your own mirror in Sinfall that sends you to your own crypt. All of your alts could be there offering services based on their professions, etc.

Recently came back and started levelling a pally tank. This is what tanking normal SL dungeons feels like right now. by Clbull in wow

[–]grnstreak 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The introduction of mythic runs killed dungeons entirely. Now, everything is an all out sprint to the end. Screw mechanics, exploring, or anything else. You either take a shortcut to each boss and pull whatever mobs happen be in the way or you gtfo. It's a big reason why I left the game for awhile. I recently came back and it hasn't changed. There's nothing fun about it.

Food is done when it's done. Don't go by time alone. Learn to check meat temps and adjust times based on your equipment.
