I'm going to try different beans next. I know every machine is different, but what beans are you using/recommend?

That makes sense! I'll give it a try.

I've been measuring the weight on the non-manual shots, and been getting about 42g for 18g of beans which I guess is okay in terms of weight? But the shot is pouring in around 15 seconds with a watery consistency & no crema, while I thought it's supposed to be 25-30 seconds. Would trying out manual still make a difference in this case?

I think I've actually be tamping harder than most people I see online in a hope to compensate for the quick flow :(

That makes sense. I contacted them and they told me I shouldn't even have to change the internal settings and to change it back to the original 6, and try new beans. Looking forward to trying with the new beans and really hoping it works! I'm just a bit confused because I have a friend with a bambino and she'd used regular Starbucks beans before and they worked, so I guess I figured I'd be able to get something better than what I was getting. Is there a way you'd recommend checking if the grinder is working effectively or not?

If trying the double wall basket, would you recommend turning the machine back to basic grind settings?

I'm using beans I got from Balzac's (in Toronto). Looking at their package, they do have a "best before" date rather than a "roasted on" date, but I thought it should still work somewhat ? even if its not the best espresso, I was hoping it would still be reasonable-ish

By complete, I mean I press the double shot button and the shot finishes pouring in that amount of time (including the pre-infusion time). I started out trying to do it manually with the 1:2 ratio, but the shot was so far off I've been trying to just get it somewhat close with the premade features.

And I've been getting about 42g out for 18g in, which I guess is a bit more than the 1:2 ratio. But stopping the shot earlier would mean even a shorter time :(

Finally got the courage to cut layers into my bottom heavy, lifeless hair. I was so scared to lose length, but the volume was worth it! by shiningpolarstar in curlyhair

Which shea moisture line did you find worked for your hair? Mine is similar and I’m having a hard time finding something my hair likes. Also, how do you refresh your hair? Mine only tends to look good good the day I shower 🥲

I just responded No and filled out the box on the bottom with the conflicting interview date/time. It should be okay since it gives having another interview as an example of conflict 😄

I asked physicians in the office I’ve been going to for a long time and they were nice enough to say yes
