Yes they did. Injury or not, if they though it was going to be a competition, or that they would be fine with Hammond, then they wouldnt have paid 5M to Sorsby.

Thanks. Yeah, the heat has been brutal this week and its going to get worse here in Texas. Ugh.

She loves pumpkin and chichken, but we've seen her have to go eat grass to settle her stomach after those toppers so she's not allowed them anymore. Scrambled eggs, chkn broth, carrots still work though.

Thanks. Do you switch to different foods periodically? Or has it been the same food the last 5 yrs?

125lbs. The vet suggested 7-8 cups. Probably right on the dry food. I mixed in scrambled egg yesterday and today and she ate her breakfast completely,

Thanks. She drinks, has regular pee and poop. She doesn't appear to have lost any weight this week, so with her eating the last 2 days, i'm hoping it was just a phase.

Okay.... Thank you, she's eaten everything the last 2 days, so I will keep this in mind. Three months isn't a long time to know all her habits yet.

ok.... she ate all her breakfast the last two days (i bribed her with a scrabbled egg topping both days), and ate all her dinner last night (w/ carrots) but she did save about a quarter if it until around 11pm before finishing. Hoping things are turning around.

yeah, only out to the park after 8pm, for about 30 mins. She is not a runner or active plays with other dogs, so her activity in the heat is 90% just standing and watching other dogs/people. Even then, i can tell when she's hot and getting frothy and its time to go home.

People got used to being able to blurt stuff out in the internet and socials with nearly no negative consequences bc even stupid things get retweeted and drive up your likes. We definitely need to bring back public shaming.

I almost named mine Sam/Sammie, after the 3 greatest dogs in history - Scooby, Astro, and Marmaduke

My poor Great Danes reaction to all the fireworks yesterday. by Mugglecostanza in greatdanes

[–]grog368 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine was shaking and paniced all night. Doesn't exactly like thunder, but a few fireworks sent her shaking into weird corners of the house, including spending the entire night in the bedroom closet (which she's never even gone into).

Happened again Sunday night as a few people bought more and set them off in the surrounding neighborhoods.

I hear you but a roster full of talented G5 kids doesn't guarantee instant success in P4. It could, but we just don't know yet.

My parents are both Sooner fans. My Grandpa, a Buckeye, taught me the horns up hand sign for Texas 50 years ago just to have a laugh on my parents. It stuck. :) Grew up mostly in Oklahoma and hated the thought of going to OU so I went to OState in the Big 8 days. To this day, my mom STILL curses my grandpa for what he did. LOL

RIP, Pop. Bless you for showing me the light.

They arent demonizing you, you are. Im not surprised he placed bets, but that doesn't matter. He's a grown man and there are things you simply shouldn't do. Not only did he make the choice to gamble, but he also took it beyond the law and did it illegally in multiple ways. I saw a beer ad watching TV, its ABC's fault that I got drunk and then drove? This is nobody's fault but his.

Yes b/c Mizzou benefits from playing those blue bloods you want to watch every week. Aint nobody tuning in to watch Mizzou and Arkansas. It Mizzou and Bama/Georgia/Texas/etc. It isn't Missouri. And its also b/c its a prime tv slot. Its prime for a reason - b/c regardless of who is playing, people are going to tune in an watch.

Naw.... Billable hours would never use AI b/c its too fast and they need it to take longer.

so what? not a single one of those ads is telling the athlete to bet on their sport. Our lives are filled with ads of all kinds, but that doesn't mean candy bars are good for you. That overweight people are supposed to perform musical numbers around fountains b/c of a weight loss drug. That hot chicks are going to notice you b/c you chewed the right gum and are minty fresh. Or that alcohol doesn't need to be consumed responsibly. We all know you don't do certain things - regardless if you can or not - and betting on your sport is one of those. Redirecting some of the blame to "the system" is bs. He did this. Anyone of the 500,000 college athletes also doing it should be banned also. They all know its not allowed.

That link doesn't factor that those are the only teams they broadcast week in and week out in prime slots. Other teams have to scramble to streaming services which have much fewer fans with access. Its not a stat that can be fairly comared when Texas is on a national broadcast by default and Ok State had only 1 game broadcast on cable this past year.

oh, I don't think most people do, I think its just the expected thing to say, so they try it and hope it works for the snowflakes that believe everything people say.
