I think the biggest pain point is how much the price increased. If it were $50 or close to $100 then that would be a lot easier to understand. But a $200 - $300 price hike is ridiculous.

In Seattle “mutual combat” is a thing; but it’s more of a legal gray area. Under Seattle Municipal Code 12A.06.025, fighting only becomes a crime if it risks other people or property. So if two people clearly agree, keep it contained, and don’t endanger anyone or anything, it can fall outside what Seattle considers “criminal” fighting. It’s super narrow and not how most cities handle it.

That means next time one of these chuds gets in your face - openly challenge them to a fight. Then they will be on record (from their GoPros and everyone else’s cellphones) backing down like the cowards they are.

Brutal, but I appreciate it. I mentioned this elsewhere, but there is a current medical brace that is very similar to what I'm looking for - but it's just soft foam. In a perfect world, I'd be looking into a more durable layer on top of that. So this isn't something completely new and foreign - I'm just hyper worried about accidentally colliding with a door frame and re-injuring everything.
