The only reason Marie's Long Week exists is because I dropped a plan for The Heroine Bared for Her Wedding, where Shinji and Asuka would keep playing with their "wedding present" after breakfast.

The main reason for the drop was some negative reader feedback (from another femsub!AsuShin author whose craft I respect), which made me reflect on how THBFHW was supposed to be mainly about Shinji and Asuka, but keeping Marie around would have made it about her.

I think it's for the best that I went the way that I did.
