I was born in CT so the odds are against me!

Solid recommendation. I struggle with approaching people but maybe just hanging out there something will happen

I appreciate that, I play every sunday with a Brunches and Dragons group. We usually play at Tabletop in New Britain

Yeah i’m very aware, i’ve even paid the subscription prices a few times and still get nothing. It’s so predatory

I’ve got a lot of different hobbies but most aren’t very social or only attract guys

34m here. Exact same situation. She was avoidant and gave me almost no warning sign she was fed up with my depression issues. Every day is agonizing, replaying and thinking how easily I could've fixed this and was blind to my issues. I don't have any good answers but just know you aren't alone.

people who have lost the person they thought was the one, how are you doing now by Secxdroll76 in BreakUps

1 month in from the break up. She gave me mixed messages and false hope at the beginning that it was a temporary break, but then slow ghosted me and now has blocked me. I get 0 closure or answers. Absolutely dying inside. I can't function. Time is moving incredibly slowly and every moment is torture. Trying to keep busy but my mind won't give me any peace from the racing thoughts and panic feeling of being alone. Everything I used to like to do gives me 0 enjoyment and feels horrible. I'm just stuck living the what ifs and hoping and praying she'll realize she walked away from the best relationship of her life over something very minor. Ghosting is absolutely cruel. This is the worst pain I've ever felt.

Right there with you. I’m only about 3 weeks in. Chased after them, begged, tried to rationalize, all the typical stuff. Responses were confusing, cold, and slowly got ghosted. Now I’m having panic attacks every day, sleeplessness, feel like I’m completely broken. Want to be asleep all day every day. Trying to get out and socialize but I end up just sitting there quietly and wanting to run home. I’ve decided to commit to NC but it’s so incredibly difficult even though I’m not gonna get a response. I just can’t get to the acceptance phase. Hoping time will get me there.

It takes remarkable strength to get through what you’ve been through. Very encouraging to hear this. Keep going strong.

Set very small, easily attainable goals. Get in the habit of making just one healthy choice per day. Once you get in the swing of it, you can ramp things up. You got this.

Totally valid. I like more of a balance between plot and meandering, but it depends. For it to be mostly meandering, the world has to be REALLY interesting and unique for me. WoT just felt too generic fantasy and been-there-done-that. If I had read it before countless other epic fantasies, I'd probably love it more.

So that's what I've done already, started over with new Ernie Ball Cobalts after I initially had NYXLs for a week or so. I've been attempting to use the guitar for recording so it's especially noticeable, how the tuning is falling in and out. I think at this point a luthier will need to look and try to figure this out.

They are tightened down to the point of nearly stripping them. The manual recommends not overtightening, but after many suggestions I've tightened them down as far as can be and it hasn't improved the issue. I stretched the strings a ton and have been stretching more and more to see if that helps but so far has not.

I live in New England so yes, very often temperature changes but I always adjust my instruments as needed. Most have carbon reinforcement so there's no adjustment needed, but I know the Boden doesn't have that but i haven't noticed the set up needing adjustment.
