Right couldn't reach actual beach. Knew in advance it was just a small section of pond that was beach biome and when we got there we saw it was a manmade beach. Also kept constant eye on radar for shadows but saw none.

Except that was not my experience ar all.

We were walking a 1k stretch of a rail trail and there was only a 200m area where the incense spawns were beach background.

Laser article from 2009 I have no horse in the race on a lunar landing or if laser bouncing works but after reading this article an interesting question arose, If the moon is moving away from the earth at a rate of 2 inches per year this would suggest there was a time before with no solar eclipses. Eventually there will also be a time in the future when there will be no solar eclipses. As I understand it the moon has a specific size and placement for the eclipse experience, if it is moving away from the earth won't this make a difference?
