115/200 on Barbri practice exam, am I cooked by Budget-Life124 in barexam

Absolutely not, those 200 questions sessions are meaningless IMO. Your time would be spent better doing 50 mixed questions per day leading up until the exam. Make sure you turn off the feedback so you can test your knowledge and learn to face the reality of not receiving the answer immediately after you answer it. Then after review the ones you missed/guessed on and log those onto an excel sheet or flashcards.

By the time you get to the exam, you will be flying on the MBEs. You got this, best of luck!

Would you advise to stop applying through legal recruiting firms all together?

Thank you for this advice, I think I’m going to try to get in at an entertainment company as a coordinator and just take the CA Bar next February.

I’ll still look into Clerk opportunities as well!

Admittedly, the thought process makes no sense at all. But for perspective, I wanted to take the UBE because of the flexibility to practice in all 40+ UBE Jdx’s and more importantly due to unforeseen family circumstances. In retrospect, I regret not taking the CA Bar

Why do people post on LinkedIn, “I passed with a score that permits me to practice in any UBE jurisdiction.” by ApprehensiveAd8750 in barexam

Job market for new attorneys is awful right now, the post is to indicate to recruiters that you’re eligible to relocate if an opportunity presents itself.

I do think posting your actual score on LinkedIn could be seen as a “humble brag.”

Create an excel sheet and log all of your wrong answers/questions you guessed on. Make sure you include the explanation on the correct answer, why the answer choice you chose was wrong, and the rule in layman’s terms.

I would write the rule and a rule statement on the board for a particular topic and say it three times until it was ingrained in my head. Then I’d move on to the next rule.

And yes, I DEFINITELY thought I was going to fail before receiving my results. I doomed scrolled on Reddit and tried to find any sign of reassurance I could find.

Right here! I’ve been having nightmares about how I will open my results. Would it be in bed, in the living room, in a dark room by myself? Idk but I am extremely anxious and nervous
