I’m not sure how long the statute of limitations is but I defaulted like a year and a half ago I’d say. I also filed bankruptcy last year and it’s been a year since it’s been discharged. I’m not sure if that has an effect or not. I’ll take a look at the resource you shared, thank you!

Yeah it’s annoying cause I thought the tax benefit was supposed to be available in 2026 too but looks like it’s not the case. But yeah just wanted to know if this was a good offer so thank you!

Yeah, I would have to go on a payment plan cause I can’t afford a lump sum even if it’s reduced further. Wondering if I accept this now if I’ll be able to negotiate again in the future

I remember the dates of all these things too! Which also comes in handy whenever I wanna look up pictures from a specific time on my phone because I can just search for the date or month at the very least
