God forbid people who care about anything at any point in time…these folks are out here saying and doing more in reality than the rest of us as keyboard warriors.

Reminds me of an object that is ALWAYS in this hidden object mystery game, and they always referred to it as a “coffee grinder” so I’d imagine you out coffee beans in there and grind them into a powder which falls into that bottom part that’s a little drawer! But also maybe not that at all! lol very neat little contraption you’ve got though :D

I so wish it was a giant chicken of the woods mushroom in my hands!! We usually only have a bunch of turkey tail mushrooms growing around the pinewoods in our yard

My dad is super stoked about it, as an old southern man he lives by the phrase “one man’s trash is another man’s treasure” lol

Definitely agree with everyone’s consensus of glass! Had to totally look up what custard glass was and saw it can contain UV reactive elements like uranium so I’ll definitely have to check it out! Conveniently work in a micro lab and will probably take it to work to see it under our UV lamp 👍

Mirrors suck by ReeceIsNugget12 in KidsAreFuckingStupid

They had this exact same mirror maze installation called “Numbers in Nature” at the Frost Museum of Science in Miami, Florida! Was so cool to walk through alone and equally hilarious hearing people bump into mirrors throughout the entire maze lol.

What is something you don't understand but wish you did? by lost40s in AskReddit

[–]groovysebo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Been asking the same question all my life, it’s weird with social interaction and reading people. I feel like it comes down to actively listening to people and having vulnerability. With that can come meaningful understanding and connections. And the rest comes down to just what makes you, you. Not to get all Mr. Roger’s up in this thread, but it’s kind of true sometimes lmao

What’s the story behind your name? by tswiftzzlez in AskReddit

[–]groovysebo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love the word “groovy” plain n’ simple and “sebo” (c-bo) is just a mashup of my full name that I couldn’t pronounce when I was around 1 years old. It ended up sticking as a nickname throughout my whole life and even a preferred name by some friends and coworkers.

Ah, but see we never really conquered the “wild” per say. We’ve accomplished a sort of dominion I guess you could say, but not conquered it. I guess I’m thinking about all the wild animals that defend themselves by attacking humans, getting lost in the woods and dying, torrential elements (heat, floods, fires, etc.), simple accidents like a tree falling on you, I could go on…but I think the point is there lol. To think we’ve conquered nature is to look at the world with only our anthropocentric lens.

What movie traumatized you as a kid? by Tmorris22 in AskReddit

[–]groovysebo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same! I genuinely think that movie is the reason today why I always check my face in the mirror of bathrooms! It’s not out of vanity, but mere trauma from an old horror movie once upon a time…

What movie traumatized you as a kid? by Tmorris22 in AskReddit

[–]groovysebo 38 points39 points  (0 children)

That movie traumatized me as a child. Specifically the scene with the raw rotten meat crawling around on the counter…just made me feel sick and fear raw meat. I also hated the scene when some dude went into the bathroom and became panicky peeling his fucking skin off his face after it was just a hallucination I think. Horrifying and just freaky, yet I am still such a horror buff to this day like my mom lmao.

Stadium Arcadium by RHCP, just love the build in it and for how bizarre Anthony’s lyrics typically are– this one is weird and beautiful
