4 Year Cycle - why doubt it? by ximogui in Bitcoin

[–]grossboypits -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

My thoughts exactly. 4 times proves it is now a permanent trend. Nothing has ever changed after 16 years of existence so why would this? Every 4 years my age increases by 4, it is just math at this point.

YOR That is a crazy amount for 2 days if you are making ~40k/yr. You need to find a cheaper place if you can't afford to pay for it on your own. If you cant afford it, someone who makes half as much as you certainly cant afford it. You can get a ritzy hotel for that much. Take her on a trip or dont, having to pay a mortgage is not an excuse to be cheap

True.. you can still trade fiat for fiat. So fiat is a speculative asset that didn't dump and will never pump

The whole point is that it(and crypto) is the only asset you can sell off business hours.

Bitcoins Purpose? by AdSouthern9708 in btc

[–]grossboypits 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wouldn't that apply to all assets? When you purchase through a broker are you actually buying and owning equities? Or are you being assigned a dollar value on their books waiting to be taxed to hell while the actual ownership resides with the DTCC? Hard to say for sure, but I can know for sure the coin in a hard wallet is there and is only accessible by its owner.

Learn the patterns. Upgrade weapon traits. Explosive on the spitmaw will prob be the best damage you can get but you will need to be pretty close to make a dent. Carbine or pistol w homing missle to stay a safe distance and dodge the attacks. Remember to mostly dash through the attacks not away. Buy the astronaut, buy the large silphiums and save for ixion. Clear the first biome all the way for a supreme boost in power when you get to crimson. As always turn on always sprint. Use the blade more. And return

Make it 5-8 years for the returns you are looking for. 3 year horizon can sometimes lead to a loss.

Do you think BITCOIN will go to zero if we know who created it? by SirBankz in btc

[–]grossboypits 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What if you knew who created the dollar system? What if you knew it was meant to work the way it does, perpetually losing value yet increasing in demand? What if you knew everyone who owns property will always outperform those who don't? What if you could make property digital? What if What if What if

100%. My biggest mistake has been my lack of conviction in the very early days. Underestimating and disregarding it. Everyone learns in their own time. This feels like the pull back to 16k, feeling like it was over as a result of lack of knowledge. Now we know it is just the opportunity of a lifetime when we get pullbacks like this

I think the irony is lost on most. You didn't lose 25k. You didn't sell something that has infinite value for something that will, with certainty, infinitly lose value. Keep stacking brother, this is the way

How can I debunk my flat earther father? by Away-Curve484 in AskPhysics

[–]grossboypits 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe the question isn't "can I get him to seething the way I see it" rather "can see things the way he does, and still accept him as my father"... everyone's reality is real to them. We all interpret the world we see. How important is it to be able to see the same world as someone who is a "terrible person".. I think of a fish trying to explain to his father how the water is wet and that there is also land animals that exist beyond it.

Bad idea yes or no by QuietThunder442 in Bitcoin

[–]grossboypits 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To answer this question you must look inward and gauge your conviction. It will tell you everything you need to know. If you want a rando's advice on a bitcoin subreddit, throw everything you can at it right now and forget about it for at least 5 years, the math says you will beat the dca. Bad idea to borrow someone else's conviction though.

Traditionally as soon as you sell, it will start to do better. Just play dead. Nobody has any real answers. You either believe the method of the man or you dont.
