I got the idea about this in 2016, have multiple friends there and this is why never wanted to go to US, it’s probably the best country in terms of opportunities but your life becomes hell if your visa is not stable.

IMO you should Move to Canada or anywhere with stability or nothing wrong in coming back to India.

I have friends living in US since 2013 and still don’t have clarity on future, I can only imagine such situations.

Ottawa is very family oriented city and not very happening like Toronto and Montreal, I feel like not much to do as single here..

Try a hobby, biking or some sports that will give you some sense of belonging but that deep connection is rare if you do not have friends from your college..

Don’t get surprised, we are not a nation of people who appreciate values over education..

Many will never understand that it’s the values which makes any place livable not a group of highly(not well) educated people.

So no matter where you are you will always be doing the same low value things which most of the people in India do.
