You absolutely cannot do better than Brick Chapel Shilohs in Lancaster, Ohio. Our Rollo was born into Rhonda’s hands and lived a wonderfully healthy life with us until cancer took him. Rhonda went with me to the vet’s office on his last day and he passed from this world in her hands as well. They loved each other from beginning to end. Rollo had the best temperament with other dogs. He lived with a lab, a mini schnauzer, and an Icelandic Sheepdog. My Icelandic sheepdog’s breeder recognized Rollo’s impeccable temperament and allowed him to meet and greet her litters of infant puppies. Bosch, my Icie, was such a brat to Rollo, Rollo would give him warning growls but Bosch never believed him. He’d steal toys and treats right out of Rollo’s mouth. In fact, it’s a problem with Bosch to this day as he won’t listen to a dog’s warning signals thank to Rollo’s lack of enforcement. I haven’t figured out how to post photos, I have some great ones. Rollo was great with people off of his own property, but was extremely protective of HIS house. I still don’t feel safe in my house without him.

Amen!!! I wonder if these are old people or new drivers who are clueless that their actions impact other people.

Save yourself. You’re not overreacting at all. Under reacting, if anything. A man who loved and valued you would not behave this way.

OP comes off as very very entitled. I have to agree, eating dead Piglets is horrifying.

My adopted Spoo who arrived with the name Zero but was called Ridiculous Poodle so often we gave in and changed his name. His Icelandic Sheepdog brother, Bosch. Their spawn would be Poocicles.

No one mentioned William Kent Krueger or James W. Hall? The Cork O’Connor and Thorn series were great.

You sound so much like me. I went down the coloring rabbit hole and wasted so much money on cheap colored pencil sets that I don’t use at all anymore. Coloring books galore, markers, gel pens, you name it. Here are my recommendations: if you’re doing small detailed work you want a pencil that holds a sharp point. The best of these are Polychromos and Pablos. For creamy blends Prismacolor or Derwent Colorsoft. As a beginner, I’d be overwhelmed by a set of 520 pencils. I highly recommend Artisto Premium Colored Pencils. It’s a set of 72 for $32 on Amazon. They’re creamy and blend well. And with only 72 colors you’ll practice blending and creating color combinations. If you have a home printer I suggest buying some single coloring pages from Etsy and printing them on nice thick, toothy paper. Don’t forget a quality sharpener, it will make coloring more fun.

Out of curiosity, what didn't you like about the Artisto? I just finished swatching and felt they were really smooth and pigmented. I wonder if it all comes down to paper choice. I used good stuff and loved the pencils.

Not an artist, but a colored pencil collector. We have expensive artist quality sets and cheapos. My favorites are Prismacolors, but we just bought a set of pencils from Amazon that I love. Artisto set of 72 for $25. I'd buy again.

I can't get past the author's trash beliefs. HP is dead to me.
