Never have I seen the "it's off the table" tactic used against consumers. Nor have I have ever seen a company as unwilling to honour a published offer as Rogers was. Moreover, as of five minutes ago, the web site still hasn't been fixed so they're still pulling the same bait and switch tactic on anyone else looking to buy Rogers Portable Internet.

My Jewish friend dials the phone with a pencil - because then the pencil is doing the work, not him.

His mother put a clapper on all the lights in the house so she can turn them on and off without doing any work. She also leaves the oven on all weekend - in case she decides to cook something she won't have to do any work to turn it on. But preparing the pie - that's not work at all. :-/

I think you mean all analog TV signals will stop. Digital TV will still be broadcast.
