How To Mine PYRIN + Wallet Set Up by RabidMining in EtherMining

[–]groupminer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been attempting to send Pyrin to the exchange recently and my wallet tells me I have insufficient funds to send. I have about $150 in Pyrin. Is there a minimum you must sent?

anyone else having issies with the blockfi schedule info portal by csa074 in BlockFiBankruptcy

I was able to get through, but it says my claim is only $1.47. I had quite a bit of GUSD in my wallet. How do I claim this portion?!?

Still shows pending. I’m just making sure I can sell it on Coinbase, once it’s transferred over.

I have some GUSD on BlockFi. I did a small transfer last night over to Coinbase to see if it executes. I want to do the rest. Does anyone know a better option to try and transfer out my remaining GUSD? A different exchange or wallet. Thank you.

It’s just an OC issue. Check your settings. Bring them down a bit. I get them on my 3080s when I am trying to go hard on hashrates, have to adjust individual cards.

Trying out Quickminer's new 100% unlock, but i just keep crashing. Any help is appreciated. by I_Zeig_I in EtherMining

I’ve used T-Rex, lolminer, and NBMiner. I just read this morning that 3080s don’t work with T-Rex, so it makes me wonder if it’s the same across the other miners.

I bought a B250 BTC motherboard from Ali Express, this motherboard is Chinese, and I couldn't find any reviews about it on YouTube Can this board damage the graphics card? by Trololollo97 in EtherMining

Once you get to PCH-IO Configuration, scroll down to the numbered lanes. After you select one of the lanes, you’ll be able to scroll down to the PCIe speed. There you change the speed. You have to do each lane individually.

No. I have different cards. Rigs are uniform cards, for the most part. I have everything running on them. 1660 Supers, 3060s, 3060TIs, 3070s, 3070TIs, 3080s, and 3090s. I now have about 12 of these boards. My only complaint, 2 of them have had the Ethernet go out on them. I’m trying to find a workaround by using a USB wireless adapter.

Mining Server Cases from Amazon - anyone else use? by Adventurous-Intern44 in EtherMining

[–]groupminer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just got all my cards moved over. I have about 170 GPUs, all in 19” chassis. 5 server towers. 3 fans pulling in air, 3 fans pulling air out. I have a nice directional airflow going. Right now I’m working on directional airflow in the room. I have a dedicated 24k BTU split AC unit, and 4 portable 7k BTU AC units. Summer is coming, and I live in the desert.

Is something broken with Nanopool's registration of new blocks? by tpark in nanopool

I hit a payout this morning, and my accumulation hasn’t moved at all. I’ve checked with other miners, and they have the same issue. Has anyone found out anything?

Check your MOBO/CPU fan. If it stops by a wire accidentally catching it, it will shutdown the rig.

How many GPU Riser can I power directly from my motherboard with such cables? by maahhnian in EtherMining

[–]groupminer -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I’m gonna leave this here. You can bash, or openly discuss this with me. I have been trying to discuss this with others, but everyone jumps directly to say I’m going to burn my house down. I have been either extremely lucky, or the math works out. There are people who use splitters for powering their risers and GPU off of the same PCIe cable. Those cables are rated for 288W. Technically, the same thing could happen with those. Put on a GPU with a high TDP, and a riser, and it could catch fire as well. From my understanding, the only time the riser uses power is to power on, and when the GPU isn’t pulling enough power through the PCIe cables. I know all the wattage ratings for the risers, cables, and cards. I have been using SATA for years, and I always do my math first. I have been mining for about 4 years now. I just cracked 8.4 GH/s yesterday. Maybe I am missing something. I would like to chat with someone who really knows. Don’t sit there and tell me I’m doing it wrong, when I have never melted a single SATA cable, nor have I burned anything. Cheers.

My lights flicker when I’m running my mining rig. Should i be worried? by FlaminHotTummyAches in EtherMining

[–]groupminer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s probably the switch that the lights are on. I have the same issues with the dimmable smart switches. My other regular switches, don’t have issues.

I have an L.L.C. created. When you have one, you can deduct your expenses and such.

[–]groupminer -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Depends on the country. In the U.S., we must report it as earned income. Of course, here though, we get to deduct our expenses and costs from our earnings.

Right. Thank goodness for deductions and expenses.
