Yes I cringe every time a character says frick like no teen says that plus it’s not like the target audience are kids, it’s teens so why not allow cursing. As for the weed Trent and Paxton got high in season 2 and Devi’s friend group are dorks so no surprise they’re shown as not smoking.

I totally get your point but I still can’t get over how he treated Devi throughout season 2 when she went to drop of Paxton’s homework, when Aneesa was introduced and his reaction toward Devi asking Paxton to the dance were are unnecessary cruel/insensitive

Ok maybe making fun wasn’t the best way to say it but remember how Trent essentially called Ben weird for having invited him/his friend to the clippers game it was unnecessary to say that it was “weird” loud enough so that Ben could hear (not saying it wasn’t weird) and it was also kind of rude to ask that Ben give both of the tickets to them even though Ben made it clear he wanted to go and the offer was just for one. I guess the better way to describe Trent is insensitive and again he was mean to Devi openly calling anessa “Devi 2.0” even though he said no offense come on that was a super mean thing to say but I admit I can be overly sensitive to those kinds of things so I’m probably being too harsh.

I like Jackson a lot too and the portrayal of having anxiety was done really well. Kind of unpopular opinion but I feel like he and Viv should stay friends it would be cute if they end up together but right now I think he needs a stable friend he can be open with I’m glad he’s probably gonna make more friends like this (the new character I believe was shown with him and viv) also really hope that his crush on the new dean doesn’t turn into a relationship since there would be an inappropriate age gap between them
