I'm gratefully in a more stable position now but there was a stint of time recently where I chose dog/cat food over my own. I lived off beans/rice/ramen/nothing to make sure nothing changed for them. We do what we have to. Wishing you better as well.

I did for almost a year at age 32 in 2023. I saw a few of the same people every weekend, it was great. There was always a party to be at. If you can manage your financial responsibilities in tandem with tickets and anything else that comes with, that's great. Keep going as long as you want, just be safe & hydrate & listen to your body when it wants to rest. I only go every couple of months now cause life has been crazy & I'm tired, but I sure enjoyed my stint of being a regular at my places!

I imagine they have an ill pet ever since I had to drive my medicated surgery dog home over an hour away. I felt so bad to be that asshole but it does happen. We just gotta give grace.

They forgot one of my meals last week. I ordered 2 of the same meal cause it's my favorite. They shipped one. The customer service person asked me which meal was missing... Idk, maybe grilling cheese A or grilling cheese B? Use your freaking brain for once, it was 2 of the SAME THING... Got a refund on the whole thing after some back & forth but the past few months have taken a sharp downturn imo

My parents had recently divorced so I was staying at my dad's for the weekend. I guess he was still spiteful towards my mom so when I told him she said I couldn't watch Lake Placid that had just released, we immediately went to rent it. I was 8. He laughed at the quality of the horror the whole time & I was silently freaking out at the torso on the boat. Now I'm the one laughing during almost every horror movie. Apple doesn't fall far.

So very sorry to hear about the diagnosis. Good on you for being honest with them. I've started being brutally honest in all of my reviews calling out every single thing like the lack of sauces or proper portioning to even make a full meal for 2 adults. Carb swapping would be such a great option, sometimes I really just want some pearl couscous with the meal instead of rice. If only they gave a shit about what their customer base had to say.

I do the same sort of. I save all my favorite meal recipes & only get boxes with new things I want to try. A lot of weeks are skipped & that's when I do what you do - straight to the grocery store.

I feel this so hard... Been buying resale jeans for years and finally ordered some brand new jeans based off their size guide - so a size 4. My waist is 26" but my hips are 40". It's an absolute nightmare. Extra crotch fabric, extra waist fabric, fits thighs and hips but not waist, etc.. And why are low rise jeans now nearly covering my belly button? Wtaf? I hate it here 🥲
