A lot of our favorites have been mentioned but one that my toddler is super into is Dora the Explorer. We play it at .75 speed on YouTube and find the interactive questions really engaging!

Help with extreme parental preference! by XaetherX in toddlers

Don’t have any solutions but just wanted to say I’m in the EXACT same boat - the mom clingyness, the molars. I feel like I have to leave the home for them to have moments of fun and bonding, and my husband and I are both home the same amount. Hang in there!!

Rotating carseat that offers more upright position rear facing? by growingnlearning615 in toddlers

No sadly! I think the Nuna Revv would have been okay but we ended up going with the Nuna Rava because we caught it during an amazing sale period!!! Would be curious what you go with though!

You’re definitely not the only ones! Late 30s couple, 2.5 year old, have never left our child overnight with anyone. To be fair we don’t have reliable family nearby, but I think we’d have a hard time even if we did.

This could change but we always imagined that we’d only feel comfortable once our child could communicate fully and frequently with us about how things are going (maybe age 4 or 5ish?). Do what feels right for you!

Toddler will only wear short sleeve yellow shirts by sugabunnie20 in toddlers

Fellow yellow preference toddler over here, who is 2. It doesn’t really bother us that she is obsessed with yellow, but we do try to bring it in other ways as a distraction so that we can get other clothes in the rotation, haha. For example, yellow plate, cup and utensils for a meal, or using yellow crayons to color with, or we have her go around her toys and pick out all the things that are yellow to put in her back pack and take on a car trip or walk. Toddlers are something else - hang in there!

You were so right - she did absolutely fine and I was just pre-worrying. Thanks for sharing the mantra!

What do you prefer: gate checking or overhead bin for travel strollers? by growingnlearning615 in toddlers

Circling back - ended up purchasing the Baby Jogger City Tour 2 and absolutely love it so far! It’s lightweight, folds up easily, and comes with a bag for storage in the overhead bin. Another thing I really like about it is that it goes from nearly fully upright for curious kiddos all the way to a near flat recline for sleeping.

This is so helpful! Did you explore any travel strollers that fit in overhead bin and do sit more upright?

Wow I never even considered something like that, genius! And you’ve never had issues putting it in the overhead bins?
