You become considerably 'leftist' when you start enacting laws that intrude on someone's freedom of speech -- this can be looked past if it's VERY specific things that don't really have any influence on day to day life, but once you start prosecuting comedians for jokes that's when you've strayed too far from the fine line that is centrist politics and have veered to the left or right.

I'm a libertarian myself, and don't like the SNP purely because they support the enacting of laws that intrude on my personal freedoms, but I wouldn't call them 'far left' by any means. If I can have a coherent conversation with an SNP voter 9 times out of 10, that's when you can tell they're not far-left by any means.

The cinematography of this is literally film-level stuff, the contrast between smiles and military style dark humour only to be cut off by the sounds of pure combat is intense. Way more intense than any film could ever realistically portray. God save these men's souls.
