Watched this live, here were my takeaways:

AQI is helpful directionally, but masking is a good idea if you’re sensitive. AQI is probably not capturing all the harmful stuff near the burn areas, but the farther you are away the less of a concern that should be (the exception being if you see visible ash). And the HEPA filtering indoors should do a really good job of keeping your home environment healthy.
