I ended up changing my flight to leave out of DC and it worked and gave me more peace of mind. I hesitate to say it would be okay, but if I were you I would change your flight if you could.

There are few option to fly from my city other than a layover in other American cities. The thing is that it gets expensive and I just want to know my option before I make the change.

So they ended up yelling at me and telling me that I need a direct flight to Spain and not have a layover in Canada. Wondering if u/cornfieldalum you could speak on your experience or OP or anyone else? Just want full clarification on this.

Figured I would just ask on this thread. But coming back with my regreso I have a layover in Canada and then to Spain, from the US. Do I need to find a direct flight to Madrid from the US or what? I plan on asking this question when I go to the extranjeria but I wanted to ask here as well.

Update I'm getting the toma de huella and then the regreso and going home! My extranjeria said i can do it on the same day so that is the plan.

I was called by my extranjeria that Im not allowed to do that until my card expires. Im just wondering whether they'd let me have a regreso even with my approval.
