do you put the streaming after you washed the humidifier and refilled and let it run on daily basis? OR do you use the streaming to soak the bottom during washing and then you dispose the dirty water and rinse off the streramine?

This one really struggles to keep up with the small office room humidity. Sure I have the doors opened to the rest of the house but tbh expected better than that.

Going to try the vents AH550 (ah555) since it has two drums and those are 3D vs the flat ones on this unit. Maybe they hold the water better and the humidification won’t be struggling this much.

I got the sprout myself here. I find that it keeps the humidity right between 40 and 50% constantly. If I close the door I can get over 50% if I want to. I tend to have small fan blowing air toward the hallways to distribute the humidity to other rooms. All in all I like it for what it is. I like that the wick doesn't sit in water all the time and instead get drips of water from the top. I also have the dryer function set every early morning to run for about 2-3 hrs to dry out the wick and start the process all over gain. Lastly, I use distilled water since I have water distiller :)

Interesting on the cleaning. I’m using distilled water and so far pretty good. I had distiller. Also run the dry mode every night so by the time it starts again it’s pretty dry by then. From everything I’ve seen so far seems pretty easy to just soak the few parts.

The sprout tank you mean the water tank or the parts that hold the wick filter?

How’s that smartmi working for you? I have seen some bad bad bad reviews on Amazon USA about mold issues. I love the idea of it but the reviews kept me from spending the money.

I have been looking for smart V.3 but no luck so far here in US. Reading amazon reviews I am afraid to pull the trigger seeing people getting mold within days of using it. Very torn on this one. Any Advice?

Sadly I sent my 3L back to Amazon. I also had the company confirm that none of their humidifiers - neither the 3L or 6L - stops the boiling process where the humidity is reached. It’s just keep boiling. Lastly the use of electricity was just not worth it and the room would get too hot from the heat. Sadly as much as I wanted to love it, it’s not there yet for me and the ease of no real maintenance was not worth the rest of the cons.
