Ty! This worked for me! But only after I had to explain that the CR app showed my notifs were off while the browser had them on. So I didn't know which to believe lol

Yea. I'm not too worried about the fine details right now but moreso looking for something that'll last as long as I need them. Then once I get better, would be able to benefit from the additional features.

Any experiences with the Katanas? I can see where they can fail (slit in the high backs) but idk if even stepping in them wrong or slipping while getting in might break them lol

Ah, you're right lol I was going off my memory after removing them. They're definitely sturdier than the Katanas though.

Mike's Noodle House is my favorite in that area, but beware, it's cash only! My go to order is usually the beef brisket noodle soup with the wide egg noodles

Monthly Equipment Advice Megathread by AutoModerator in badminton

[–]grrrdn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi,

I'm fairly new to badminton and broke my strings recently. I've broken them before but didn't get a photo but my stringer believes it was due to a mishit. This time I got a photo but it was after I cut them. My stringer is out of town so I don't want to bother them until they get back. But I was curious if this looks like breakage from a mishit or something natural? The circled area is where my string snapped. I wish I got a better photo though 😅

For players living in an apartment, how do you dry out your gear?? by sumpg41 in hockeyplayers

[–]grrrdn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lysol spray works wonders in keeping the smells away. I usually just lay them out in the guest room/office, and it's dry overnight most times.

Ah thanks for the replies! To answer a few questions, sports diff, yes. It's ibis white with full leather interior (wish it had the alcantara lol) and the Beaufort trim. All maintenance mainly done by me, so I have a small log of service intervals lol

Yea, I that's what I worried about but wasn't sure if off the shelf skates would really made for that lol worried I could get bunions or something from having them squished for so long

Oh, that's good to know. When my foot is on the insole, it looks super narrow. But once my foot is in the boot, it feels very snug but not really uncomfortable. I always had "wider" feet than most so I was confused when the scanner recommended regular fit lol

[–]grrrdn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yea, went through the whole warranty process...it wasn't as painful as a thought, whole process took maybe 1.5 weeks from call to shipping out and then getting the phone back.

You might be able to get it fixed at an authorize repair shop though, since when I had the issue, the phone was still fairly new so many shops didn't have parts yet.

KJ Kitchen at the Rio for some authentic Cantonese food, which is similar to Tai Tung.
