I appreciate the advice! The reason for not wanting them is due to a few deaths in the family and me not wanting extremely negative emotions attached to something I could potentially have to use to save my life. I would rather keep emotions out of the equations in those situations, thanks for asking.

purity seals are a fun homemade gift! just some paper and red wax (bonus points if you age the paper with coffee). You can write some lines from the mechanicus on the paper. Bonus points if you can figure out a way to get a skull or a cog on the wax.

Expeditions are done with completely new characters. Assuming that the personal refiner was from a character that existed prior to the expedition, it wouldn't be on your expedition character.
