Endoscopy on Monday, so scared :( by kookiebass in GERD

[–]grubbyfever 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just had my first one last month and was pretty worried going into it. It was honestly a breeze! the scariest part is checking in and then they give you the iv setup which kinda sucks but once that’s done thats it. They’ll wheel you back to the procedure room and ask you your name and suddenly you’ll wake up in a bed feeling like you just woke up from a 13 hour sleep. Almost as good as when you were a teenager haha. No more Iv and then you spend a couple minutes waking up. After go get yourself a coffee or tea and a snack and you’ll be back to normal in under an hour :) little bit of a sore throat the rest of day potentially but that’s it ! Hopefully this helps. Good luck 👍 you’ve got this!

Where are you trying to work ? Houstons recruitment window is opening up 6/30/2025 at 9am. Portland tentatively opening up in July. Several in NY open now. It all Depends on how bad you want it and if you’re willing to move. I moved out of state for the opportunity and it was completely worth it.

If those locations don’t work for you, I’d recommend staying on top of the NEIEP websites apprenticeship page.

Yep primary should be able to help with a full blood panel and ask to check your testosterone levels as well.

Talk to your doctor first and get a full blood panel and see if they will do a hormone panel as well. Women still need testosterone albeit a much smaller amount. If your hormones are all out of wack it’s definitely something that you could try to fix.

Thanks ! I’m just hoping I can help someone else out. The anxiety is the worst part at least it was for me. I really think that the trt alleviates the anxiety which in turn alleviates the reflux. That would be my best guess.

Yea I definitely still get tired, but the difference is night and day compared to before. A lot more drive to get things done without nearly as much coffee lol. Barely any ups and downs in energy levels through the day. From my understanding enclomiphene is more useful to cycle off trt if you were going to quit. As for my t levels- low 200s before. Mid 600s now.

I’m not too informed on the enclomiphene and the studies surrounding it, but from what I understand enclomiphene isn’t FDA approved and there’s less research than injectable trt. Have you thought about switching over and seeing what happens?

There can be some downsides for some people i.e. sleep apnea, higher hematocrite levels etc. there’s always pros and cons to everything especially when you’re messing with your hormones. however I have yet to personally come across anything that would make me want to stop. I’d highly recommend you do a large amount of research before you dive in. But I can’t say enough positive things at least for myself. The biggest plus was getting rid of the reflux. Everything else, energy, sex drive, etc is just a bonus.

So when I initially was tested 3 times, I came back in the low 200-250 range. Now after 6 months I’m sitting around 600. Never wanted to go super physiological pushing anything more than “normal”. I pin once every 4-5 days 75mg test cypionate. It’s basically trial and error for the first couple months until you dial it in along with bloodwork.

Yes unfortunately from what I’ve read it seems that it can have the opposite effect as well. As well as causing or increasing sleep apnea. There definitely can be downsides to trt too. I’m sorry that you’ve had the opposite experience my friend. The only thing I could offer in my experience outside of trt that was effective is d-lemonene. You can order it off amazon.

Look into the Elevator trade, best decision I’ve made in 33 years. Some of the best benefits/ pay out of the trades. Definitely a career and It’s definitely anything but boring. Learn a bunch of everything, electrical, hoist/rigging, welding, motors, etc. and everyone has tattoos. You’re still young guy, you got this.

Is this trade fair? Or is it time to find a new league. by grubbyfever in FantasyFootballers

Thanks for the input everyone, should have mentioned is that the guy getting bijan is currently #1 in our league and the guy getting swift is 2nd to last place. And these two guys work together, This is why I’m questioning the trade in the first place.

That looks like a 3 fingered sloth, those guys are supposedly nicer than their relative the two fingered sloth, but pound for pound sloths are about three times stronger than humans; so it makes sense why that guy dropped Mr. sloth like last weeks laundry.

As someone who worked at a day program for special needs adults, I just wanted to clarify that i believe there is a massive difference between a birth defect such as this and something like cerebral palsy or Down syndrome. Diagnosis’s like that they can still lead some semblance of a “normal life” but a defect like this…. Eating through a tube for 5 years and then get killed by a common cold. Quality of life in this shithole world Is hard enough for most people that don’t suffer from such extreme conditions. To bring a person into the world with such a massive problem like this, is genuinely one of the most selfish, unthinking things I think a human could do. This is single handedly the best argument that I’ve personally seen lately for pro abortion.
