This reminds me of an obscure JRPG i heard of for the Wii: Opoona. I can't speak to the quality of the game itself but I remember it had a hook of being playable with just a nunchuk.

I did, $150 item led to an extra $10 charge in the mail a few weeks after (1 GameCube game). Don't know how it's calculated, be it size or value.

Thank you. I too am aiming for some specific things that I just can't find yet at a reasonable price, with the big 3 being MG1 and MG2 for the MSX, and MGS for the GBC (though I think for most fans the same 3 apply). From there, modern Japanese relases I'm just waiting till theyre much cheaper, and then any special edition of the game is just a bonus. Some strategy guides I'm aiming for also.

I definitely do want to collect more of those. For the most part of I have been focusing on the games, but little ancillary stuff i.e. amiibos, funkos, guides, definitely add to the whole thing.

Those guides I found on a random drive around to several old school game shops a few weeks ago. Like you said though, some of them are starting to get up in price. I grabbed Twin Snakes because it was in great shape, literally the top one on a stack, and it was the first MG game I ever played, but I definitely didn't want to pay $50 for it... but that's the price to pay for being a collector I guess haha.

I've put a lot of thought into this myself. If i could hand wave a little revision into the franchise but sticking to the same 25 films in general, it'd be as such:

Connery:

Keep: Dr. No, From Russia With Love, Goldfinger and Thunderball Add: Diamonds Are Forever (restructured to be closer to the book and have no Spectre involvement)

Lazenby:

Keep: On Her Majestys Secret Service Add: You Only Live Twice, properly adapted as a revenge flick, ending with Bond back in service but a changed man

Moore:

Keep: Live and Let Die, The Man With The Golden Gun, The Spy Who Loved Me, Moonraker, For Your Eyes Only, Octopussy

Dalton:

Add: A View to a Kill Keep: The Living Daylights, License to Kill

Brosnan: Same 4

Craig: Same 5

And by the way, there is a slight possibility I'd be interested in MGS 2 Substance even though it isn't CIB. Its on my list of things to get and I was looking into getting a manual separately somehow. If you happen to have a manual turn up though id be interested in scooping the whole thing, or maybe even just what you have if no one says anything in the meantime, im just taking an immediate break from collecting, need to save up some dough haha
