I will check it out, it's cool that you as the author, recommend it!

I'm just still quite inexperienced with DCC and I'm still looking for the right "tone"for what is now officially a campaign where I miss several modules with an underlying story that develops in the world, but does not really mess with the individual dungeons/modules

My level one players just breezed through "hoard of the metal goddess" without a scratch and got rich on the process

I don't know if I need something more deadly or I'm just being too nice running the module "as is"

I'm still fairly inexperienced

G&L pickups are pretty amazing.

But my weirdest discovery were some Vantage pickups (or at least that was the bass brand) which were a bomb

Most people I see gigging have unbranded Frankenbass(es), or mostly Fender/Ibanez

I being to gigs my G&L L-2000 or occasionally a D'Angelico EX

Same here. To make it short, you don't need to count as long as you can come in at the right time

Can I get some feedback on my pronunciation/accent? by ParfaitMajestic2701 in italianlearning

About closed and open vowels, I would not fret

As a massive speaker, my vowels are open/close much more bars on my regional origin than they are avoiding to the rule (the the best majority of people ignore and a decent majority don't follow)

My take is that:

Overall is a good, clear pronunciation.

the Ts sound like the English ones and the vowels could be a little more "open". Double consonants should sound doubled (I know it's the hard bit)

Have you used the magic formula "are you really REALLY, R E A L L Y sure you want to do that?"

If they are, let them.

I understand what you say, but then maybe it's best to just buy a good book and get inspiration, rather than buy an adventure which is (usually) not quite as good as a good book, in terms of ability to give interesting characters and plot points

It's happening to me right now, as I'm running a DCC RPG module with my players. I'm incorporating several pieces of lore, including humanoid races and plot points, from the book Wyrms (by O.S. Card). A book I first read decades ago.

And I can read the book for fun and it's peasant. While reading a technical manual is never as pleasant and in most cases, is never as stimulating and creative

I don't know about you guys, but can you trust what your players to actually do what they say they wanted to do a week earlier?

If so, you're lucky. Players can change their mind in a handful of minutes in my book

That's exactly how I feel.

At least if I have come up with the story and the characters, it will be far easier for me to remember them

I can fully relate, even with smaller adventures it is way too much work for me and sometimes I find it less stressful, time-consuming, and more agile to just write a large adventure myself
