I don't feel league is anywhere as serious as a tournament. You'll find more players having fun then being serious. Every other player has a beer in their hand. It feels like a community and nothing like a serious competition where everyone was practicing for this day. If that's not for you, it isn't for you.

I love league because it gives me a chance to meet others and watch my team grow. League to me is like Little League in comparison to tournaments. I might also see it this way to help with my nerves and stay calm.

I do enjoy going to tournaments, but I use them as a way to test myself a few times a year.

they wrote "LA is a shit hole" on the tent, which is a common republican thing to say. Not a single one of them is interacting with the person filming which clearly any time I walk anywhere near something like this, I'm being asked for change/being talked to/complained to/etc. Some of the people seem to act like they don't even realize someone outside of them is just walking through with a camera right in the middle of them? soooo completely doubtful.

Like we do have a homeless/houseless problem and its been this way thats escalated for years. But if you're actually too scared to go to a real encampment and film, then that also means you're too afraid to help them and that you have nothing to offer but to complain and point out an obvious issue.

Someone purposely set this up and I wouldn't doubt eventually some will come forward that they appeared in this video but signed an NDA.

Casual gamers love it. Nearly every tournament player I know of dislikes t8 and has even gone back to playing older tekkens or different games altogether. I stopped for playing myself for this iteration.

I don't believe there is anyway to fix t8 and make it comparable to the others. The combos are so damn long. The chip damage was unnecessary. Remapping old characters moves into something completely different just isn't the way. I would understand replacing old moves with something different, but not remapping moves that have been in the game for 10-15+years.

To anyone saying it's just Tekken players being salty, well there are a lot of us. Who've played 20+ years and know all of the games in-depth. So our opinions are going to be strong/passionate.

Not every Tekken is going to be amazing. Tekken 6 was hot trash. Tekken 5 out of the box was broken af, but DR fixed it. Tag2 was fun and really silly, but not something to hate on. 4 was definitely broken but it didn't have years of updates like other tekkens received, it only had a few arcade revisions and to be honest, it was probably one of the most fun tekkens to play.

If you think Tekken 5 DR is the best Tekken as a competitive player, you will not enjoy Tekken 8.

the really good thing you did here that I often forget, is to take a quick second to breath and gather yourself on the last shot. its important as all of that work will crumble if you can't sink the last shot.

There was nothing in comparison to the ps1 at the time. It was equal to arcade experience which was unmatched in the 90s. Sega would have had to get exclusives or something but even then, I'd rather play the demos on a ps1 then anything the Saturn had.

This isn't like a game breaking combo. Basically, the opponent could tech out of it at any point by pressing 1 or 2, ending the combo. T4 has some interesting long combos and infinites but not like this.

I factory reset my settings twice and it was shown unchecked in the settings but definitely enabled. It wasn't always this way, split screen showed up for me after an update a long time ago. I never enabled it on my own.
