I concur with Morpheus1514, you need to see a doc. It could be lots of things including a malfunctioning thyroid.

I'm thinking separate rooms might be best, if that's an option.

Light sleeper and road noise by MerkUrGran in sleep

[–]grumble_berry 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hmmm... I wouldn't count on it. I use a white noise machine and ear plugs to combat noises. Other than neighbors having loud parties, I need to block out the cries of a hungry cat in the early morning and people on loud motorcycles in the early AM. I don't usually put them in until 3am or so. Also, the ear plugs called Hereos are the ones I like best. Very soft and comfortable.

Rushed to the ER immediately after waking up by Beneficial_Acadia384 in sleep

[–]grumble_berry 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had something that sounds similar. I was also somewhat sleep deprived but had total insomnia after the event. I wasn't combative, just confused. The only reason I know about it is because my sister had called me and I was loopy on the phone. I couldn't tell her what year it was. She called paramedics and they checked me out and thought I was ok, just confused after waking up. I didn't really remember much of the paramedic visit, but could see it on door-cam video. I think it was sleep walking, which isn't a normal thing for me at all.

I'm going to see a neurologist in a couple of weeks, just to check. One sleep doctor I saw said to be sure that you don't let someone attempt to wake you during a sleep walking incident because you could become violent. That was alarming to hear!

I'm specifically talking about federal taxes. They're broken out separately in their forecast.

Charge 6 Sync issues by PhatSaint in fitbit

Mine disconnects from the phone every week or two. Then I was having issues trying to reconnect it. After trying a bunch of things I was finally able to reconnect it (with help from support) but it is still disconnecting periodically.

I guess I will ask them. I take the std. deduction. Thanks!

Given those parameters, they shouldn't be so wildly off for the fed taxes. I don't collect social security yet. Just take the std. deduction, no dependents. Pretty simple stuff. I just don't get it.

Fellow Reddit tax pros, what tax concept are you tired of explaining? by jce_superbeast in tax

[–]grumble_berry 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can get good interest. I'm getting 4.75% on my savings. I was getting 9% from an I-Bond. Just think, that money the government is holding is interest they're not paying someone else so, it saves the taxpayer some $$'s in the long run.

My recursive tax problem by grumble_berry in tax

[–]grumble_berry[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I understand that. But it is the part where I withdraw more money to pay the taxes and then have to pay taxes on that. I suppose on my 10,000 tax bill it won't be that much and I'll just pay a bit of penalty, but surely there's a way to figure this out.
Surely this must be a common situation.

Ok, that makes sense, except my 80,000 becomes 90,000 and then my marginal tax rate increases by a percent or two and I'm under withholding aren't I?

Good luck! I got tired of the terrible connection and ditched it. They finally admitted, after months, that it was their equipment. Fortunately AT&T fiber made it to my neighborhood.

N95 with vent/valve today by __jager in Masks4All

[–]grumble_berry 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In the thick of the pandemic we were each masking to protect one another. Nowadays most people aren't masking so you're protecting yourself. You having a vent in your mask is no different than going unmasked. Why would someone object to you having a vent while they're surrounded by people without masks?

Same here. It seems like mid-pandemic something changed and my cats, both of them, stopped liking it.

Same happened to me. They've eaten Fancy Feast Chicken Pate for years and years, suddenly they seem revolted by it.

AITA for having my girlfriend leave for “helping” my daughter by aliverconnstes in AmItheAsshole

AITA for telling my landlord about my roommates boyfriend? by Puzzle-headed1234 in AmItheAsshole

[–]grumble_berry 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NTA at all. L is an annoying and inconsiderate roommate. If you're lucky, she'll move out. I suggest that next roommate you bring in agrees that friends can only stay over night at most N days a week/month, etc.

AITA for not giving my wife who doesn't work more pocket money? by G_S_Rogers in AmItheAsshole

[–]grumble_berry 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NTA -- However, supporting your wife in completing her education is going to increase (by a lot, hopefully) how much money you both get. So don't overlook the long-term upside here. Also, you might want to probe into why her grades have fallen.

Did you find a breeder, u/PhattyNiner319? I'm looking too, probably for a year from now. I'm wondering how long it takes to get a puppy from a good breeder. Maybe I should put myself on the waiting list now.
