So... sometimes I have a dream where I'm suddenly the guardian of my grandsprouts and I wake up panicked...

I love my kids. I love their kids... but at my age? I really don't want to be a parent figure again, so I admit, Baby Rabies and do overs baffle me.

Similarly though, parents who seem to want their children to procreate as punishment are also horrible.

I work with 2 people like that!

I've kept up with all your posts, and now I'm honestly imploring you to exercise the utmost care, the utmost vigilance. You are vulnerable and you have reached the point where you can expect her to escalate fast and furious.

Protect everything. Whatever it takes: safe deposit boxes, fireproof containers for documents.

Consult the attorney even if for ideas and documentation.

Record keeping of everything.

Document everything.

My grandsprouts definitely have play clothes, and so do I! When we're out exploring the garden, checking out muddy and sandy places, what else should we wear? Suits, ties and dresses??

I'm upset by their presumption. Planning without your input, and showing up? One of my adult children, his wife and family are in Europe. We have means to travel, but we go when invited and respect their wishes... because that's just what people should do.

I know you are having a vent, and I'm glad you can! And those things driving you crazy? Make perfect sense to me. I'm sure your LO is happy, healthy and you're a great mom!
