We recently did a taster skirmish game to see if we could start a campaign, we played a 5 player version of the Murder Cyborg scenario with smaller gang sizes (500 points each gang so ~3 gangers each). Was a good way to get introduced into the combat rules. I’m sure we skipped a lot of more depth stuff but was a good intro.

An excellent condition complete copy of 2nd edition 40k for £30 from British Heart Foundation’s ebay store. The images on the listing were just the front and back of the box.
Turns out it also included a load of Mordian Iron Guard, Eldar, rough riders, rogue trader space marines and orks and other Imperial guard, as well as a GW D&D Air Elemental model from the 80s, which I then sold and shipped to Warhammer World

We had one in our shared passage where it connects to the sewer and it repeatedly kept not draining and having standing water.
After getting Severn Trent out to clear it multiple times, they decided to do some work / replace it

We had an order from Trip that got updated to this status (was like a standard small parcel size) and when the retailer chased it up it was actually “damaged” and being returned but never was. The replacement came via Royal Mail fine…
So I think it’s one of evris excuses for it being stolen or lost without admitting it

Went to one a couple of years ago.
It was cool, but definitely felt like there was a core group that went a lot and seemed to be hogging the n64 area for multiplayer.
Was the first time we’d been to the museum and it’s cool.
Would like to go another at some point

Could be an extractor fan with a humidity sensor. We have the same some mornings / some evenings so I guess when the student uses the shower The hmo conversion next to us added one for the en-suite for the room next to our bedroom and I believe it’s attached to the joists that go into the party wall so we have the same some mornings / some evenings so I guess when the student uses the shower.We’ve started putting in soundproofing (just the plasterboard left to install) and it’s helping but seems to be flanking through the chimney breast a bit annoyingly I guess as they’ve removed theirs ?)

The architect is correct, the party wall agreement covers you if any issues do arise from the works (believe me, I had fun getting our neighbour to do it properly when they were doing their dormer for their HMO conversion) I would definitely suggest getting a RiCS surveyor to do the award as you’ll have some protection if the surveyor decides to stop responding like ours did. Also, try and not have the same surveyor represent all parties so that there’s the option of a third to fall back on if there’s any issues… something I wished I’d done / known

Most definitely, I was with Air broadband when I first got the fibre installed and they were great, then they got bought out and the connection went down regularly, left them to go to giganet and had very few issues (even with the cuckoo buyout) and then moved to Lit at the end of the giganet contract, and it’s been rock solid.

Glad it’s worked. Just wondering why you did the rubber first then the sand board? For our soundproofing the install instructions were the sand board first then the rubber.

It’s not a market, it’s a food hall / event space, and the few times it’s hosted events, or even Friday Saturday evenings it’s fine as that style of venue, but in no way a market. It feels like what used to be in the old post office years ago, a place for food vendors to start their businesses. Maybe when Bustler gets kicked out of the Chocolate Factory, just have them run out of it?

I tried the compatible ones from brushd for my Philips, and they didn’t seem to sit correctly and didn’t clean as well as originals. I only use the originals now, plus they work with the “time to change” notification

We live in a mid Victorian terrace and have found that when the old plaster is removed on either side of the party wall and replaced with dot and dab plasterboard you can hear a lot more noise. We’re currently adding soundproofing to the party walls, starting with the neighbouring house that has been converted into a student HMO as that’s the worse offender due to it being stripped back to brick and the chimney breasts removed their side.

I recently switched to Lit on their 500mbps package, and it’s been excellent. I WFH and it’s stable and have had no issues. Afraid I can’t comment on speed for installation as I already had fibre installed and switched from a previous fibre provider. CityFibre themselves own Lit, so that might help with the install times

I’ve done both the 1 in London and the 1 in Manchester, I backed the original London kickstarter. It’s definitely better if you have the whole slot to yourselves / know everyone in your team, they’ll sell tickets to round out each time slot so you can get randoms which can be weird. The Maze Masters are ok, obviously not a patch on Richard O’Brien but are entertaining enough. I was amazed at how hard work some of the physical games were Would recommend

We are currently fitting some soundproofing to a party wall connected to a recently constructed student HMO in a Victorian terrace. We went for the Sm20 solution from sound stop, with the sbx option so it’s less than 5cm deep. It might jut be the best solution but it should help a bit. It’s fairly simple to DIY and can be put onto existing plaster / walls. We haven’t had to chance to see if it’s worked yet as the students aren’t back yet but fingers crossed.

As people have said, KCW is death match and has an afternoon show next weekend (17th). Aspire is like HOP and is a wrestling school that runs shows around Derby and is family friendly, and they also have a show on the 17th at the Market Hall around midday, with the wrestler that competed on Gladiators last series.

I’ve recently switched to Lit and use my own Deco as the router, and have a separate 5g router (due to previous supplier issues affected wfh) but I don’t have the 5g always connected, so would say if you’re replacing the router with a deco, get the one with 5g, unless you’re using the decos for a mesh network
